Hijab Care Instructions

Proper care keeps your hijabs beautiful, soft, and long-lasting.

Jersey Hijabs

• Hand wash or gentle machine cycle
• Cold water only
• Mild detergent
• Lay flat to dry — do not tumble dry
• Iron on low if needed

Chiffon Hijabs

• Hand wash only — cold water
• Do not wring or twist
• Hang to dry in shade
• Iron on low heat, place a cloth between iron and fabric

Satin & Silk Hijabs

• Hand wash only or dry clean recommended
• Cold water, gentle soap
• Do not rub — gently swish
• Roll in a towel to remove water, then hang to dry
• Iron inside out on silk setting only

General Tips for All Hijabs

• Never use bleach
• Store folded or gently rolled — avoid hanging for long periods
• Keep away from direct sunlight when storing
• Wash dark colors separately for the first few washes
